"Family. She hadn't realized it until now, but that's what the people on this ship were to her. At some point during this haphazard journey, she'd
fallen in love with a bespectacled kleptomaniac, a star-crossed seducer and his displaced princess, and most of all, an infuriating blue blood who used to call her Rattail. She'd learned that home was a fuid thing, and whether on a planet, on a satellite,
or on a rusted bucket of a ship, this crew was her home."
This is a science fiction novel about a girl named Solara. She is a convent and she needs to get to the outer Limits to find a job. In order to do so, she ends up working for Doran, a rich and
spoiled brat. One day Doran see her tatoos and attempts to throw her off his ship. Solara instead drugs Doran and enters another ship called the Banshee. I loved this book. It reminded me of Firefly and Farscape. Both of these shows are qurky and funny. I
loved the I hate you, I love you, now change relationship betweem Doran and Solara. I loved the side characters. The captian who was part machine, the badass princess, the cook , and the thief. My favorite character was the thief,Remy, he stole everything including
the princess's shaver. I loved Solara's character. She was a badass. My favorite scene was when she jumped out of her dress and landed in the jet naked next to Remy. I also loved the fighting scene between Doran and a space pirate and how Doran hit him in
the balls. I highly recommend this book if you love pirates, space operas and comedy science fiction.
